The Jachthafen has been enchanting his guests for over 100 years with lordly rooms and a unique view on the river Elbe over to Teufelsbrück. Built after plans of the famous architect Fritz Schuhmacher the Jachthafen was built as a red-brick building in the Domestic Revival. Fascinated by this, Kaiser Wilhelm II, a passionate sailor himself, inaugurated the old mansion “Alter Hamburger Jachtclub” in 1914. The mansion served as a meeting point not only for the workers and employees of the petroleum harbor but also for the yacht club.

The Jachthafen has been on his best behavior for many years now…whether gala, conference, wedding or studio photographs – the venerable building is getting more and more versatile.
